McDowell is an efficient scoring threat from anywhere on the court. When he has the ball in his hands there is no wasted motion, every dribble, every move has a purpose. From three he shoots over 40 percent and has nba range making him a legit threat anywhere past half court. His ability to hit the mid-range jumper off the dribble is unmatched and shoots over 50 percent from the field. You do not want to send this young man to the line if you are an opposing team because he shot 82 percent from the freethrow line last high school season. Defensively he is as solid as they come showcasing his ability as a perimeter defender as well as showing he can switch on a big if needed. He currently holds offers from Midland University, Hastings College, and Doane University. Whatever school that he ends up choosing is getting an absolute steal!
