Abram made an early commitment to Wittenburg this fall ahead of his Senior season. A big guard who excels as a midrange and three point shooter, Stinebruner’s best basketball is ahead of him. With his size, Abram is capable of being a good rebounder for his position.

Speaking of big shooters, Abram fits that bill. As a Junior, Stinebruner fired up more threes than twos for Oldham County but he’s got more to his game than what he’s shown in high school games. Not to mention he made 42% of his threes for the Colonels last season. The key for Abram as a Senior is to impact games in a variety of ways. At 6’5, he should average 8 or more rebounds per game as a Senior.

An efficient shooter/scorer, Stinebruner was among Kentucky’s leaders in three pointers made per game last season. At 6’4, Abram is a good rebounder at his position and is not afraid to go into the post to get a bucket. As a bigger guard, Stinebruner also offers some rim protection.

Stinebruner had a strong weekend where he shot the cover off the ball. Knocking down 50% of his threes and not missing a free throw in the narrow loss to the eventual state champs. Abram appears to have grown to 6’5 and with his academic profile, he should have a lot of college suitors.

Another player whose transfer paid dividends, Stinebruner showed himself to be one of the top three point shooters in the class as he knocked down 42% of his shots from deep. Abram is skilled and has good size at the 2 spot. He needs to be more aggressive off the bounce but he has the physical tools to attack the rim and finish.

One of the potential high impact transfers in the 8th region this season, Stinebruner should have an opportunity to play his more natural position on the wing after playing more like a post at CAL last season. Abram is a smooth scorer who plays hard and with a high IQ. Look for him to step into a big role at Oldham this season.

Abram was a role player for CAL the last couple of seasons but should be in line for a bigger role and more offensive opportunities at Oldham County the next two seasons. Stinebruner can play comfortably on or off the ball and is a good shooter. His rebounding will help an Oldham County roster that needs to replace a ton of lost size.
