Akbar-Lusk continually made positive contributions to the Cavaliers with his vertical athleticism. As a rim runner, he put pressure on the basket while rolling, which opened up space for others to drive/shoot, resulted in a field-goal make for him, or forced defenders to foul. But his great impact came on the glass. Akbar-Lusk pulled down numerous offensive rebounds for second-chance opportunities and crashed the boards on defense to limit his opponents’ possessions.
