DeWayne was already having a strong game for Johnson, but it was his late game stretch that ultimately secured the win for his team. With just over two minutes to play, DeWayne knocked down a three from the wing, forced a turnover, and then beat his man off the dribble to get to the rim and tie up the game. Less than a minute later he took a BLOB pass and powered his way to the basket to take a two point lead. That remained the go ahead basket as Johnson took down Central. Was really impressed by the explosive burst DeWayne showed off the dribble allowing him to get all the way to the rim and finish. Also showcased a nice lefty pull-up jumper if his man tried to sag off and prevent the drive. High motor player who finished with 25 points in the win.
