Milwaukee Academy of Science: In their final game of the season, MAS took on another State-caliber division four team in Oshkosh Lourdes. Despite winning by just four points, the win gives them a taste of playoff action as well as some superiority over other division four powerhouses.
Sussex Hamilton: Hamilton played Racine Case in a battle of one-seeds. And, as a possible sign of things to come, Hamilton dominated, winning 99-64 and leaving no doubt to their legitimacy.
Although they play in a tough sectional, the balanced scoring Hamilton displayed against Case will help them against teams like Brookfield Central and Arrowhead.
Edgerton: Edgerton’s 18-4 season received very little press. But, with a win over East Troy this week, they’ve built momentum and added stock to their name.
Their scoring dynamic also warrants a mention. With three players averaging around 12 points a night, they will benefit from multiple, talented weapons on offense.
Oak Creek: Creek has stumbled through the latter half of their schedule, winning two games and losing eight. This week, though, they notched a win over Racine Horlick courtesy of big outings from Kael Stulo and Jasin Sinani.
Honorable Mention:
DeForest: DeForest can’t do much to raise their stock at this point, but a 60-58 win over an in-conference opponent in Mount Horeb is enough to justify an Honorable Mention going into the postseason.
