Brown is a 6’5 shooting guard that just recently transferred to Bishop McNamara from McDonogh. Brown is a natural all around player that can score at all three levels. He has good athleticism that can allow him to play defense and rebound the ball on both sides of the ball. I have seen good spurts of him running the floor well and he has shown good things when he is dribbling with the ball in his hands.
So far, Brown is really enjoying the move he made to Bishop McNamara.
“Open gym has been pretty intense and really competitive. I love all of the guys on the team as we push each other and play hard and we just love competing.”
I recently saw him at the DMVElite80 event that was held last week and he looked like a guy that is extremely passionate on both ends of the ball and a guy ready to make a big splash this year in the WCAC, “I am just trying to get exposure and get my name more out there in the dmv.”
This summer he played with Team Durant and he talked about that with us, “My summer was pretty eventful, Peach Jam was something to remember and I think I did really well and showed my game off to the coaches that were there.”
Three of those programs that noticed Brown have been keeping close ties on him and he discussed them with us.
Columbia: “They are a really good school, I love the coaches and everybody there. They have been looking at me since this past spring and I am really excited about them.”
Davidson: “They text me everyday, I love the coach and the team is great. I think they are a really good program.”
Stony Brook: “I just went to Stony Brook, the coaches were great and they seem like a fun group and it was a really good campus.”
