He says he felt like he played really well this summer.
“These last few weeks have been good. We’ve played a lot of good competition. It’s been a fun summer.”
Broughton is ranked No. 8 overall in the Prep Hoops Kentucky 2017 rankings.
A starter for North Laurel since 8th grade, he’s been one of the main scoring threats since his freshman season.
“We should be pretty good. I think we are one of the favorites to win it. We’ll see how it goes.”
How would Broughton break down his own game?
“Shooting the ball, getting into it on defense, rebounding, I’m just an all-around player.”
Currently, he has 14 offers to choose from which includes Clemson, UAB, Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Alabama-Birmingham, Miami (Ohio), Wright State, Lehigh, Tennessee Tech, Southeast Missouri, Toledo, Samford, Kentucky Wesleyan and UNC Asheville.
