Recruiting Radar: Players who snagged offers last week
With the NCAA Georgia Team camp, Top 100 camp and the NCBCA Team camp taking place these past couple of weekends, many players have attracted schools and earned their way on recruiting boards from schools. A good grip of players have boosted their stock this month, but a few players and sleepers have earned offers based on their play in the recent string of camps that have taken place in the Southeast region. Here is a list of players who have earned offers from their play last week and over the weekend:
Josh Banks – 2020 SG – Olympic HS (Charlotte, NC)
Josh Banks 2020 Guard Photo by: Prep HoopsJosh Banks did damage in the EYBL circuit and played big in the NCBCA team camp that took place over the weekend. Banks averaged close to 20 during the NCBCA camp and led his team to victory in a few games played. Banks was on a good handful of recruiting boards from some mid-major schools heading into the camp, but picked up a good few offers over the weekend from some top level programs. Over the weekend, Banks received offers from Virginia Tech and Marquette. I wouldn’t be surprised when Banks has another long list of offers on the table for the 2020 guard is an all-around player who can hoop with best in the Southeast.
Kirshon Thrash – 2020 CG – Eagles Landing HS ( McDonough, GA)

Thrash is a well-known spot up shooter around the state, with capabilities to rebound the ball as well. Thrash has great size as a combo guard who can literally do it all on the court. Over the weekend, Thrash received his first offer from Presbyterian College and has been on Georgia and Georgia State’s radar. As a member of the Big Shots Elite Georgia AAU team, expect Thrasher to round up a good few offers before the summer ends. He will also be competing in the Battle for Georgia tournament this upcoming weekend.
Jaden Walker – 2020 SG – Discovery HS (Lawrenceville, GA)

In the camp, Walker displayed his scoring at the basket when in attack mode. He also gave the scouts a show, finishing with a nice posterizer. Walker’s game is steadily emerging as the Discovery guard is finding a consistent jump shot and being more physical when attacking and driving the lane. Over the weekend, Ole Miss and last week Iowa State sent over an offer. Walker is continuing to make noise around the states, with him already having offers from Georgia Tech, Middle Tennessee and Wake Forest.
Jamahri Harvey – 2020 PG – Northwood Temple Academy (Fayetteville, NC)
Jamahri Harvey photo by: Prep HoopsWith an elite performance in the Phenom Team Camp, Jamahri Harvey definitely picked up a good few offers over the weekend. Harvey is an all out competitor, who loves to go toe-to-toe with his opponents and let the game do most of the talking. With great length at one spot, Harvey automatically can cause a mismatch and knows how to pick apart a defense with his spot-up shooting and ability to get to the lane and finish. Harvey is also not afraid to play defense as he known as a respective two-way player who gets it done at both ends of the floor. He recently received an offer from Rider University and currently has offers from North Carolina A&T and South Carolina State.
