Here we resume our breakdown series by briefly highlighting at five stock risers.
#44 | BOBBY HILL | 6’5 PF | DEMATHA | PREVIOUS RANK: 82
Hill was a JV standout during his sophomore year, but during AAU season has blossomed into a major impact guy during for 16U Team STAT,
#45 | JAMIYL KIRKLAND JR. | 6’2 G | FRIENDSHIP TECH | PREVIOUS RANK: 77
Kirkland is a big guard with a strong frame and a good feel for the game. He is a winner with more experience than many of his peers, and should continue to improve as he gets more reps.
#49 | YA’QUIN STATON | 6’3 SG | FRIENDSHIP TECH | PREVIOUS RANK: 63
Staton sat out his sophomore year due to injury, but looked good when we saw him at DC Live. He’s a knock down shooter who can get to the rack and seek contact.
#57 | RASHEED DUPREE | 5’8 PG | KIPP | PREVIOUS RANK: 72
Dupree is a scrappy on-ball defender with quick hands. He is another lead guard who just wins games and will go toe-to-toe with whoever winds up in front of him.
#64 | BEN WILLIAMS | 6’0 PG | ST. MARY’S RYKEN | PREVIOUS RANK: 87
Williams is a good facilitator and perimeter defender who can shoot the three and get into the paint. He will be an important player this upcoming season for his new team.
