Continue ReadingDTA Elite 2020 PG Anthony Allen: Brings a lot of the attributes that you like to see from a PG to the court, he can run a team, score and plays the game with confidence. In the first game we viewed he didn’t score a ton of points but remained engaged and was aggressive with the opportunities that he got. Solid prospect overall that recently picked up some D1 interest and will be one to keep an eye on for the rest of the summer.
Flight 22 Select 2020 Forward Demarcus Mclaurin: We were pleasantly surprised when we saw him this time around as it seems as if he’s dropped some weight and is a bit more agile. A legit 6’5 that can play the stretch forward or small forward spot, he showed some flashes of how good he can be when he’s locked in. Making plays from the post or attacking from the wing are things that he showed he can do, keep an eye on him this upcoming high school season.
Fayetteville Spurs 2020 PG Alijah Miles: He has a pedal to the metal style of play, constantly on the attack and getting into the paint. On the defensive end of the floor, he moved his feet well and defended without fouling for the most part, he understands how to use his speed on both ends of the floor to make plays.
Flight 22 Select 2020 Forward Skyler Davies: Another player that may not wow you with their scoring ability or anything of that nature but is one that plays the game with energy and works hard. Rebounding the ball is where he made the most impact, there were several occasion where he seems to be out positioned for a rebound but he still found ways to get in the paint and secure the board.
Flight 22 Premier 2020 CJ Freeman: He didn’t get a high amount of touches but he made the most of what he got. We like the skillset that he has to go along with his size at 6’7, as well as his calm demeanor on the court. You won’t see him getting rattled and despite him being played pretty physical he didn’t allow his frustrations to show, he’s a big with plenty of upside to his game.
Flight 22 Select 2020 Guard Chapman Edwards: A player that has one of the higher motors that you will see, you won’t see him standing still for longer than a few moments. He is constantly chasing the ball defensively, attempting to come up with any type of play to help his team. On offense he is just as aggressive, pushing the tempo to the max to force the defense to recover and possibly make easy plays for his team.
