With teams from New Jersey, Florida, Texas and many more all in the building it’s only right that we take a look at a few of those as well as our NC teams.
East Coast Cyclones (NJ) 2022 Forward Anthony Tancredi: At 6’5 with a high amount of potential and a nice skillset already, he was one that caught our attention pretty early. He finished well inside, and showed he has the potential to be a guy that can stretch a defense with continued work on his shot. It’s still early in the process for him but we like what we got the chance to see, and he’s one to keep an eye on.
BWSL (VA) 2022 Guard Ryan Blakey: Quick guard that got his team out into transition but also showed that he can excel in half court settings as well. He knocked down some shots from three point land and got into the gaps of the defense pretty well, he’s a smaller guard but his speed and shooting are attributes that help him get the job done.
Wellington Wolves (FL) 2022 Center Keon Kindred: For a player is age, his physique seems to be pretty advanced as he is already at 6’5 with some muscle. He provided an interior presence for the squad on both ends of the floor, rebounding and blocking shots were some of the ways he impacted the game.
East Coast Cyclones (NJ) 2021 Point Guard Anthony Purnell: Was outstanding running the PG spot for this team, as he helped to get them into their sets and made smart decisions. He has solid height at about 6’ and a long wingspan which he understood how to use when he got after it on the defensive end. A good IQ and a natural feel for the game are some things we saw from him, he scored at some points but looked to get others involved more often than not.
Big Shots NC 2022 Guard Jacob Newman: Plenty of upside in this youngster, he already has logged some minutes at the varsity level in high school and we feel he will only get better as time goes on and he develops. His ability to score the ball was on display, he got to the paint at a pretty high rate and finished while showing his shooting ability as well.
Team Wall 2021 Wing Bennie Brooks: As you know by now, Brooks is a player that we feel has a chance to play on the next level without a doubt, he put together a monster season during high school ball and is looking to keep that momentum going. His IQ for the game and shooting ability are areas where he is advanced as well as his ability to rebound the ball from the guard spot.
