He has a nice overall game with a smooth shooting stroke that caught our attention early on as he knocked down a high amount of shots from deep in the first game we watched.
Flight 22 2020 Wing Yates Johnson: At about 6’6 he passes the eye test as a player that could possibly be solid at the wing position on the next level almost instantly. You have to love how hard he competes on a consistent basis every time we see him play, you will see him work inside the paint for rebounds but he can also show the ability offensively to play on the wing.
Wake Warriors 2021 Forward Miles Void: We like what he brought to the table for his team at the Forward spot, he used his strength and motor to be dominate inside the paint just about every game. He is a player that can catch the ball at the high post and make the right play/decision that will lead to an easy bucket for his team.
Wake Warriors 2021 Forward Noah Hines: Out of all the players that we saw this weekend, he was one that played with one of the higher motors that we had seen in a very long time. He blocked shots, rebounded and attacked the paint at a very high rate which was impressive considering that he was nowhere near the tallest player on the court.
Team Thunder 2021 Forward Matt Locklear: Did some nice things throughout the games that we got to watch him play, which included rebounding and knocking down shots. He has good versatility so he’s able to play on the wing or you can play him at a stretch forward type of position, when he’s locked in on both ends of the floor, he’s solid.
Team Thunder 2021 Forward Corell Love: Really like the upside he has and how much pride he seems to take in rebounding the ball. He not only uses his leaping ability to rebound the ball but also boxes out well and gives the effort that you want from a player that’s battling inside the paint. He has decent size for a younger player and he gets off the floor fairly quickly, overall he was solid throughout
