Both Division II schools; Tiffin was the first to offer Strohm last month, and shortly after Hillsdale did.
He’s hearing from some additional Division I programs at the moment.
“Air Force has shown some interest, Belmont University is still interested, and American. They’re all calling me and they send letters too,” said Strohm.
“I hope I get a few more offers, just so I can have some options on where I go to school. I want to have a good academic fit mainly, and then a basketball fit too, obviously. I’d like to make my decision before I start my senior year. I just hope to get some more options.”
A 6-foot-6 versatile post, Strohm mentioned what parts of his game he’s been working most to develop over the past six months.
“I’ve really been working on a lot of pull-up jump shots, and getting my shot off quicker. A lot of dribbling too, and I’m trying to work on getting to the basket more and finishing,” said Strohm, who averaged 12 points per game for the Raiders last season as a junior.
“Last year I was more of a catch-and-shoot guy, and a rebounder.”
Strohm will resume play with All-Ohio Red in July, but is working on his leadership abilities with his high school team for the remainder of June.
“June has been good so far with my high school team,” said Strohm. “I’ve taken more of a leadership role with my team since I’m going to be a senior. I’m going to have to make more plays because I’m going to have the ball in my hands more. So, I’ve just been working on that.”
