He can score the ball in quite a few ways but was mostly on display was his three point shooting and transition offense after coming up with steals.
Farmville Central Sophomore Forward Leontae Moye: As the season has gone on, he has seen his role on the squad increase more and more. Scoring inside the paint and rebounding the ball are some of the things that he shows right now but don’t be shocked to see him do more than that in the near future as his role will only grow next season.
Henderson Collegiate Sophomore Forward Akhiris Holden: We really like what we saw from him and the upside that he has to his game. Scoring the ball from multiple areas on the court as well as rebounding it at a nice rate are things you noticed but being efficient with the touches that he got was impressive.
Henderson Collegiate Sophomore Guard JaQuaveon Venable: Another younger player that has a nice amount of upside to his game and will be one to keep an eye on. He showed some flashes of speed and athletic ability as well as the tools to be a very good PG with some of the decision that he made throughout.
Henderson Collegiate Sophomore Javonte Waverly: He is one of the leading scorers for his team and this matchup was just another day in the office for him as he scored the ball at a nice rate. Prospect wise he is one to keep a close eye on over the next year as he has plenty of the tools to take his game and buzz to another level.
Washington County Freshman Guard Omar Harris: He didn’t look much like a freshman during his performance in this game, he got to his spot and use his strength to play through contact when he attacked the paint. He has a smooth shooting stroke and a confidence that you don’t see from many his age, he will be one to keep an eye on as he can be special as long as he continues to work.
Millbrook HS Sophomore Will Felton: It wasn’t one of his best nights but we love how hard he battled throughout his matchup with Sharpe. He has plenty of the tools to be successful and a player that college coaches should be watching closely, 6’7 and 200+ at his age is always an eye catcher.
