Cameron Ray 2019 Kinta guard
Cameron has supreme spot-up abilities and can knock down shots quickly and accurately. He can get hot and give opposing teams a lot of trouble when he does thanks to his quick release and high finish. Kinta was such a good shooting team that opposing defenses were in a blunder all weekend and had no way to contain everybody. Cameron was a big part of that.
Braden Ray 2019 Kinta point guard
Braden Ray knocked down four 3-pointers in the State Championship game, including three in the first quarter alone. He only took six shots from that range. That helped him to finish with 18 points to lead Kinta to a title and bring the Gold Ball home.
Thomas Fobber 2021 Kinta wing
Thomas Fobber came off the bench in the quarterfinals and showed the state of Oklahoma what he was made of. Fobber got hot from beyond the arc as a spot-up guy and had the gym in an uproar with his accuracy against Braggs.
Blake Ramos 2019 Paden wing
Blake Ramos was a sneaky-good shooter for Paden over the weekend. The Pirates upset Duke in the quarterfinals, then nearly did the same things to Calumet in the semifinals. Shooting was a big part of his game in leading Paden to a great showing in the State Tournament. Ramos has a quick release and can spot up as well as anybody at the Class B level.
Jadyn Hicks 2019 Calumet wing
Jadyn Hicks has a great shooting motion and mechanics. His consistent shot allows him to hit shots from the catch with tremendous accuracy and reliability. He gets the ball off especially quick, also, making him a threat to shoot from any range at any time. Because of this, defenses have to be diligent about keeping a body on him, allowing his teammates to find more open shots.
