In his first season at Moravian Prep, he has played at a very high level and turned the heads of plenty of coaches at the D1 level. When you have a player with his size and skillset , it’s only a matter of time before schools jump on board and he has proven himself as a legit High Major D1 prospect. Our first times getting to see him came during AAU season with the Durham Hurricanes , he was wearing #35 so the KD comparisons for many were obviously going to happen. However the more that you watched him play, the more you could see the different style of play he brings to the table and the potential he had to be a very special prospect.
Another opportunity we had to evaluate him was at the 4 Quarters Camp in Durham, during this time we got the opportunity find out more about his ability to be coached, attention to detail and most importantly how respectful of a young man he is. It was impressive to see such a talented player that would listen closely to instruction and wanted to do whatever it took to get better. We got the chance to talk with Josh about how the season has gone and what the recruitment process has been like for him.
Q: How has the experience been at Moravian Prep in your first year ?
Josh: My experience at Moravian has been a very good one. Playing top notch teams game in & game out, and the team is playing well & with confidence.
Q:What is something that you do pregame to get your mind right to play ?
Josh: I don’t really do too much before a game, just listen to music but the night before a game i will visualize what i want to get accomplished.
Q: We know you have picked up quite a bit of offers and interest this season , how has the recruitment process been ?
Josh: The recruitment process is going well, it’s just a blessing to be recruited by many schools.
Q:For younger players that may not be getting a lot of recruitment at this time , what advice would you give to them ?
Josh: The advice I would give them is to keep working hard & don’t be afraid to reach out to people to show them what you can do as far as highlight and game film goes.
