Brayshawn Finch 2020 Tulsa Memorial Wing
Finch was a catalyst for Tulsa Memorial on the Wing. He moves with great energy at all times on the floor. The passings lanes were the main focus of Finch on defense. Anytime an opposing player put the ball in reach of Finch he snatched the basketball and made the right play to push the ball up the floor for points in transition.
Kalib Boone 2019 Tulsa Memorial Forward (Signed to Oklahoma State)
Boone let it be known from the tip-off he was going to be a problem on defense. The quickness mixed with his ability to explode up in a moments notice made Boone tough to score on. He swatted and adjusted shots throughout the entire weekend. The footwork of Boone helped him to stay in front of opponents down low or when he was switched out on a smaller player.
Josh Minney 2020 Sand Springs Wing
Minney brought toughness and heart to the floor coming up huge for Sand Springs. The passing lanes were an area Minney exploited snagging steals that led to easy baskets on the other end. A lot of his defensive plays came down to the hustle and toughness he brought.
Tomislav Miholjcic 2019 Southwest Christian Post
Miholjcic stands at a legit 6’10 260 on the block. Due to his size alone he is tough to handle in the paint. He showed some ability to get up and block shots around the basket. Miholjcic more than anything made sure every team felt that he was in the paint. I would say he adjusted more shots than he blocked.
Nick Ongenade 2019 Southwest Christian Forward
Ongenda used his height and length to adjust and block shots on defense. He moves well with a quicker prospect going against him. When needed Ongenda was able to slide out and guard against Wings due to his quickness. He was super active each game leaving you with the impression of man that kid leaves it all on the line.
Caden Fry 2022 Collinsville Forward
Fry is a young prospect with some things that certainly stick out on the court. He was super active in the paint forcing opponents to adjust or flat out swatting shots out of the air. Fry did a good job of getting his hands on loose balls and into the hands of his Guards. We will have a close eye to see how Fry continues to develop.
