Hardworking Players at the Oklahoma Top 250 Expo
There were a lot of individually talented players at the Oklahoma Top 250 Expo this weekend. As I watched, I was looking for guys who were not only playing hard for themselves, but were trying to give their teams the best chance of winning every game.
Miles Perry 2021 5’8
Was doing a lot for his team. He played much bigger than his size, as he was grabbing defensive rebounds and pushing the floor on the fast break. He also left the Expo with a couple blocks under his name.
Kaleb King 2021 5’8 (Wewoka)
Was setting the tone for his teammates at the Expo. King was playing hard, and forcing defensive stops that led to scores on the other end.
Gloire Humba 2021 5’11
All-around played very well at the Expo. He grabbed rebounds, was stealing entry passes, and was scoring with consistency.
Kobey Stephens 2021 6’0 (Wewoka)
Made his presence known underneath the basket. He was actively going after rebounds and contesting shots on the defensive end.
Cain Smith 2022 6’0 (Jenks)
A Knock down shooter who brought energy to the game. On the first possession of a game he knocked down a three-pointer shooting it with confidence. But not only was he shooting he was grabbing multiple rebounds.
Taye Sullivan 2022 6’2 (Garber)
Was really taking command of the floor. He was diving for loose balls and saving a few from going out of bounds to give his team another possession. He will be a very good glue guy for any team.
Xavier Glenn 2021 6’3 (Bixby)
One of the hardest working players at the Expo. Glenn is always moving at full speed and knows how to stay in the passing lanes on defense, forcing turnovers. He is a deadly slasher who can beat most defenders off the dribble. He is also great at filing the lane, at one point he converted three consecutive dunks for his team off fast breaks.
