Georgia Sleepers Part 5
Atlanta, GA – Below you will find a list (part 5) of a few Georgia prospects who I have characterized as “sleepers”.
2019 point guard Jaiden Diamond – South Cobb High School
Jaiden has had plenty of varsity experience the last couple of years and is now coming into his senior year and where I believe will be a huge year for him. He is a 6-foot-1 point guard with a solid size for his position. Jaiden has improved his game and his body over the last few months and is one of my favorites to win his region player of the year award. He is a great defender and is best when running floor in the open court. Jaiden has some improvement to do in the halfcourt offense, but I certainly will not sleep on kid. He is a competitor and plays hard on both ends of the floor.
2019 shooting guard Kaleb Wallace – Westlake High School
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard Kaleb Wallace is a kid college coaches and scouts should definitely take a look at this high school season. Kaleb is a lock down defender and will be playing a huge role this season for Westlake. He has very long arms which helps him be distruptive and tight on his opponent. The rising senior is a slasher on the offensive end and is able to get into attack mode in the half court when he needs too.
2019 shooting guard/forward Jeremiah Smith – Douglas County High School
When talking about a powerful and big guard, Jeremiah Smith is one of the names that comes to mind. The 6-foot-5 two-guard has an extremely big body and has a good inside game. Smith is great in transition and could be known as a powerful finisher. He is also a solid defender and with a body like his he is able to guard all positions on the floor. Jeremiah is looking to have a big senior campaign and to get some looks from college coaches and scouts.
2019 point guard Tyrin Lawrence – Morgan County High School
Tyrin Lawrence of Morgan County High School does not get as much recognition as the other players in his class here in Georgia. The 6-foot-3 point guard is a smooth score first point guard who is able to score in the half court and in the open floor. He is also a solid defender and is able to play off the ball and be effective as well. Lawrence does hold a few D1 offers which include Robert Morris, Georgia Southern, Austin PEAY, Tennessee Tech, Jacksonville State, and College of Charleston.
2019 point guard Kamar Robertson – Cambridge High School
The 6-foot-2 point guad Kamar Robertson is coming off a very well played summer this past AAU season and where he participated in the famous annual Pangos All American Camp in California. Robertson has received offers from Georgia, Tennessee Tech, and Middle Tennessee State so far while expressing interest from schools like Cincinnati, Richmond, Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, and few others. He is a score first point guard and is excellent shot maker. Robertson can also be effective on the glass and is a tremondous leader on the floor for his squad.
