“Logan has offers from Toledo and Bowling Green,” said mother Melissa Hill. “Florida Atlantic offered.”
Cornell has offered Logan Hill too. He and his family are very interested in Princeton. Though the sentiment is mutual Hill’s recruitment from most Ivy League schools remains in the embryonic stages. The Tigers from New Jersey will have to replace wings Steven Cook, Hashim Moore, Spencer Weisz, and Henry Caruso by 2017.
Ball State and Ohio are two schools that are intrigued by the active forward. At 6’5″ 205, Hill could play an undersized four in the MAC. His primary position will be wing, but he rebounds better than the average mid-major wing.
This winter both Toledo and Bowling Green have sent coaches out to evaluate Hill. Conversely, the Hill family has been unable to see any college action live. The schedule just did not permit a trip to either MAC option.
By competing with All-Ohio Red again Hill will get plenty more D1 looks. His city of Massillon and his state (Ohio) are football-crazed, but Logan Hill is carving out a basketball future.
