Can-Am Additional Saturday Standouts

Proudfoot does a nice job filling the lane in transition and provides another scoring option with his ability to get buckets in different ways. He connected on a pair of three-pointers, found opportunities to get to the foul line, and used his strength to muscle his way to the cup. He plays with no fear and brings a loud motor to the floor. He finished with 22 points, 16 of which came in the first half. A prospect who should be a priority for division one programs in the Class of 2028. Kaufmann filled up the stat sheet with an impressive scoring performance, showing how quickly he can put points on the board. He consistently wore down the defense, sought out contact, and did a nice job utilizing his in-between game to find scoring opportunities. He finished with a team-high 25 points in the loss to AOA and showed a willingness to sacrifice his body for the good of the team. Kaufmann plays with a selfless approach and brings an edge to the floor that can be difficult for opposing defenses to handle. St. Bonaventure pledge Aborowa shined for his AOA squad, showcasing the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. I really liked how he displayed his complete skill set, knocking down four three-pointers while also making his presence felt defensively. He blocked shots, secured rebounds, and came away with steals, showing his ability to contribute on both ends of the floor. Aborowa's two-way versatility was on full display throughout the contest. Davie provided some valuable depth for WRA in a supplementary role, finishing with six points. He showed an assertive approach on the glass and did a nice job tracking down his fair share of rebounds. I also liked his ability to create opportunities for teammates, frequently connecting with open players and setting them up for scoring chances with his passing. Defensively, I want to see him do a better job walling up when defending around the basket to make himself a more effective presence in the paint. Mapey is an athletic post player who thrives around the dunker spot and brings an above-the-rim presence. He is an explosive leaper who uses his length to block shots and erase scoring opportunities, giving his team a reliable rim protector when stationed in front of the basket. He also does a nice job securing rebounds and extending his reach outside his immediate area to come down with contested boards. Mapey added a spark to EPA with his scoring and made his presence felt on both ends of the floor.
