Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Mapey is an athletic post player who thrives around the dunker spot and brings an above-the-rim presence. He is an explosive leaper who uses his length to block shots and erase scoring opportunities, giving his team a reliable rim protector when stationed in front of the basket. He also does a nice job securing rebounds and extending his reach outside his immediate area to come down with contested boards. Mapey added a spark to EPA with his scoring and made his presence felt on both ends of the floor.
