Second round of games at the Minnesota Freshmen Showcase.... who stood out? We bring you the names NOW!

[player_tooltip player_id='2435275' first='Henry' last='Hanzel'] of Jordan looks to have grown to about 6'7 and still has room to get taller. A long and thin forward with wide shoulders and sharp elbows, he runs well and really screams to potential. Scored on the post up and catching and finishing in transition so far. And the best part.... a really pretty shooting stroke. Henry has a nice release with range that just led to his second three of the first half. The aggressiveness of his open floor throw down really caught the eye as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2524088' first='Max' last='Gardner'] of Apple Valley has started this round of games very well. Getting down hill at will and impressively finishing at the rim. First defenders have not been a problem and he has made short work of what help defenders have come his way. Loved how Max used ball screens, both with the attack and using the space to take and make threes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2398304' first='Blaine' last='Sorenson'] from Stewartville is another guard that has found several ways to score in this game. Really active off the ball and quick on the cut or attack for the help to stop from scoring. Blaine also had one of the best help over blocks I've seen in a long time. The official called a sympathy foul for some reason, maybe a relative? But that was one of the better blocks Ive seen and Blaine avoided contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='3720497' first='Jack' last='Plahn'] of Watertown-Mayer is a player that has assimilated quite well to the event. Found his way defending, cutting, rebounding, and being an outlet to players that find themselves in trouble. Stands about 6'3 and has scored at the cup af ew times and facing from about 15 feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='3581612' first='Rajon' last='Totten'] went with the jersey number on the front and that helped me quickly remember him as he scored at the rim over and over. Got transition push and the Farmington guard did a nice job breaking down his defender several times.

[player_tooltip player_id='2524083' first='Landon' last='Morales'] of Maple Grove is a player that had the right approach at this event. He moved the ball the right way and took the right shots, beat the defense up the floor and created shots for his teammates, and knocked out some jumpers from the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='3269323' first='Lukas' last='Carstensen'] from Cambridge-Isanti had a high percentage day of finishing. With 6'4 size and good activity, he was the player at the rim scoring active buckets for his team in several different ways. The open floor transition run finishes as well as the cutting times scores were the best key ones that stood out. Really liked his activity.

Mizaye Woods from Park Center has been at the rim regularly and the Park Center guard is doing this over the top of a big team he is facing. Good and aggressive finishes getting by defender one and then scoring over the length in help.
