One of the most explosive scoring tandems in the state, regardless of class, Jirak and Putman combined to put up 44.1 points, 19.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 5.8 steals, and 3.6 blocks per game last season. Putman (22-12-3-4-3) is one of the most versatile two-way players in the state, an athletic, physical combo forward who can score from anywhere, and Jirak is an efficient wing scorer who can create quality looks for himself and his teammates.

Chance missed all of last season with a knee injury, which allowed Helm, a 6-4 forward, to enjoy a breakout junior season. Helm put up 19.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, and shot 53.2% from the floor in his junior year. With Chance, who is one of the most athletic, long and skilled wings in 2A basketball, back on the floor this winter, the Blue Demons will have one of the best one-two punches in the class.

The Knights finished runner-up last season, and despite losing a ton of firepower from that group, will once again be among the best teams in the class this winter in large part because of this tandem. Both Glynn (15.5 points per game) and Schon (13.7) are dynamic shotmakers who can create quality looks for themselves and their teammates. Both are highly efficient (Glynn 51.9%, Schon 58.5%) scorers who are capable of taking over games in a hurry with their explosive scoring ability.

Moret may just be the best player in 2A basketball this winter. A highly skilled, competitive guard who can handle it, create shots for himself and his teammates, and is tenacious on-ball defender, he was really impressive as a sophomore, averaging 19.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. Figuring out who his top running mate will be following the graduation of Landon De Stigter is a bit of a mystery, but Louters, fresh off a 10.8-point, 4.7-rebound junior year on 52-36-80 shooting, seems like a solid option. He's long, skilled, and versatile.

Both are highly efficient scorers (Wallace 65.5%, Litton 52.7% last season) who can dominat the game on both ends of the floor for the Regals.
