We are about a week away from the Expo which will have some of the top Juniors and Seniors in the state in there to make their mark and show that they not only belong but have more to their game. For some, this will be the first time we've saw them since last season and for others it's another opportunity for them to put on a show. Here's a few prospects that we feel can get out and boost their stock.

Use Colorado26PH25OFF at checkout for 25% OFF & receive a custom registered graphic that comes with it! He was one of the few players in the state last year who averaged 20 points a game, and that's while having to read different defensive looks, take over the scoring load, and finding ways to score creatively, and also having to keep his team in the game. He finds ways during the season, but he's still madly underrated because not enough eyes have seen him, especially against this level of competition. I'd highly recommend him getting out to the showcase and letting everyone know the type of player he is while having what I'm sure will be another big-time season.

Ashton should be one of the biggest surprises in that conference this year if he plays up to his potential, and he will be who his team looks toward to lead the way for them this year. He should get the ball in his hands and be able to operate, and with that, the production should follow. Ashton has solid size, he's a high-IQ player who finds ways to make plays happen. He moves without the ball, shoots it with an open looks and has his moments where he can take over. This will be a great chance to put that on display and create some attention his way heading into a season that he could emerge as one of the guys in this class. He's a secret weapon, and I think showcase season could help him get on more radars.

We did not get to see him this Summer and we can only go off of the season so much with the teams that they're playing. A natural intrigue has him where he is, but without the big high school seasons, we're starting to wonder if it's just that. His stats tell you that he's a player who impacts the game in multiple ways. He scores with ease as an inside presence that has good footwork, he finishes through contact and has solid footwork. He rebounds extremely well and creates 2nd chance opportunities and easy baskets by just being active on the boards. He's a player who certainly could use a boost with coaches seeing him adjust to the speed and physicality of some the other top players in the state. This is a great opportunity for him to silence doubters by getting out and competing at the showcase. We'd love to see him there.

Guzman has solid numbers and had his moments this summer where he got to prove himself, but we still want to see more, and this is the opportunity for just that. We don't see those Pueblo teams too often, and there's not a ton of in-the-gym opportunities left for us with him. He also needs to just be able to show himself in front of coaches in a setting like this where he gets to show the type of competitor and scorer he could be. Guzman is a microwave scorer, he's productive, and this would be a chance to show that his game translates and that he could check off other boxes. We want to see how he battles and fits with other good players around him, that is also going into this as a prove-it spot. There are plenty of players who feel they aren't getting their just due, and this could be him stamping himself. We'd love it if Eli got out.

Price is a player who I feel could surprise a few teams this year with all that he brings to the table. He's assertive, he has good size and when he settles in, he's able to be really productive. This year he'll be able to show more of what he could do as he'll be able to be assertive and should be a big part of the offense. Price is a 3-level scorer and will also be tasked at being one of their better two-way options as well and we want to see him stamp himself right now and show that he's ready for more this year. While he has had his moments at times, there's still plenty to prove for him dn this could certainly be a stock boosting day that I feel he should get out to.

Griffin is such a explosive scorer and a player that I feel could turn some heads at a showcase where many have not seen his game but the people in his conference, they know the type of player that he is and how he could impact a game and its the season that the rest of the state needs to be aware and this showcase is the opportunity for that. He put up 18 points a game and was the bright spot for a struggling Littleton spot because Griffin is an aggressive player who wants to score. He finds gaps in the defense, attacks in iso and can get inside and score on smaller guards with ease. He doesn't shy away from contact and is consistent and this should be him showing that he's much more than what his record has been. Griffin will likely have another very solid season but now it's about separating himself, and showing who he is.

The thing that's knocking Jackson is not only his team's success, but people just don't see him enough to see just how good he really is. Guzman has solid numbers and had his moments this summer where he got to prove himself, but we still want to see more, and this is the opportunity for just that. Price is a player who I feel could surprise a few teams this year with all that he brings to the table. He's assertive, he has good size and when he settles in, he's able to be really productive. This year he'll be able to show more of what he could do as he'll be able to be assertive and should be a big part of the offense.
