Twety-four teams from throughout Wisconsin took part in the 18th annual Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Summer Tournament held June 26 Prairie du Chien High School.

Following are some observations from the event:

Pool A
Potosi/Cassville 3-0, Kickapoo 2-1, Cashton 1-2, Gillett 0-3.

Pool B
West Salem 3-0, Aquinas 2-1, Platteville 1-2, Mauston 0-3.

Pools A/B Most Valuable Player
[player_tooltip player_id='2434284' first='Drew' last='McConkey'], 6-3, Sr., F, West Salem
McConkey gets it done night in and night out with his physical strength, mental toughness and ability to mix things up and gets results against taller players. The returning Player of the Year in the Coulee Conference, McConkey played at a very high level for West Salem in hard-earned wins over both Aquinas and Platteville. He scored 23 points against Aquinas in a four-point win and had 12 points and the game winner in a 51-50 triumph over Platteville. McConkey is a bit undersized for a forward, but he gets results with his ability to create contact and finish. He averaged 13.7 points and 6.2 rebounds as a junior while helping West Salem to a 24-5 record and a spot in the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament.

Pools A/B Breakout Player
[player_tooltip player_id='3021787' first='Aaron' last='Edge'], 6-2, Sr., G/F, Potosi/Cassville
A first-team all-league performer in the Six Rivers West Conference in 2025-26, Edge used his physical strength, versatility and determination to play at a high level while leading Potosi/Cassville to a 3-0 record in Prairie du Chien. Edge scored 22 points with four three-point baskets in a win over Cashton, added 26 points and three triples in a win over Kickapoo, and finished with 12 points in a win over Gillett. Edge scored on drives to the basket and from the foul line in addition to his three-point shooting prowess. He teams with [player_tooltip player_id='2636258' first='Ben' last='Infield'] to give Potosi/Cassville one of the best one-two scoring punches in the Six Rivers.

Pools A/B All-Tournament Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2140896' first='Calvin' last='Bahr'], 6-5, Sr., Aquinas
[player_tooltip player_id='3681194' first='Will' last='Clements'], 6-2, Sr., West Salem
[player_tooltip player_id='3237074' first='Vincent' last='Coppernoll'], 6-0, Jr., West Salem
[player_tooltip player_id='3020542' first='Randyn' last='Dechant'], 6-0, Sr., Kickapoo
[player_tooltip player_id='2385479' first='Will' last='Dickinson'], 6-2, Jr., Aquinas
[player_tooltip player_id='2829042' first='Andrew' last='Dillin'], 6-0, Soph., Mauston
[player_tooltip player_id='3021787' first='Aaron' last='Edge'], 6-2, Sr., Potosi/Cassville
[player_tooltip player_id='3681217' first='Wyatt' last='Howell'], 5-10, Jr., Cashton
[player_tooltip player_id='2636258' first='Ben' last='Infield'], 6-1, Sr., Potosi/Cassville
[player_tooltip player_id='3681221' first='Cullen' last='Kaiser'], 5-10, Soph., Kickapoo
[player_tooltip player_id='2434277' first='Roman' last='Kirchner'], 6-2, Jr., Aquinas
[player_tooltip player_id='3019332' first='Landon' last='Laufenberg'], 5-10, Jr., Cashton
[player_tooltip player_id='2434284' first='Drew' last='McConkey'], 6-3, Sr., West Salem
[player_tooltip player_id='2369883' first='Jase' last='Navis'], 6-7, Jr., Mauston
[player_tooltip player_id='2552683' first='Grady' last='Poppy'], 6-4, Sr., Platteville
[player_tooltip player_id='3681202' first='Hudson' last='Poppy'], 6-1, Frosh., Platteville
[player_tooltip player_id='3020063' first='Chase' last='Rosenlund'], 5-10, Sr., Gillett
[player_tooltip player_id='3020065' first='Henry' last='Schaal'], 5-10, Jr., Gillett

Pool C Standings
Onalaska 3-0, Darlington 2-1, North Crawford 1-2, Richland Center 0-3.

Pool D Standings
Tomah 3-0, Westby 2-1, Mineral Point 1-2, Lancaster 0-3.

Pools C/D Most Valuable Player
[player_tooltip player_id='2505508' first='Zeke' last='Zuberbuhler'], 6-2, Sr., G/F, Darlington
A football recruit for Air Force, Zuberbuhler put on quite the exhibit on the basketball floor in Prairie du Chien. The physically strong and highly skilled wing went for 35 points in an overtime loss to Onalaska. He then tossed in 34 points and drilled six three-point baskets in a 60-58 double-overtime victory over Richland Center. A two-time first-team all-league performer in the Southwest Wisconsin Activities League, Zuberbuhler scores well off the dribble with his strength and nose for the basket. He also draws plenty of fouls and gets to the free-throw line for the Redbirds.

Pools C/D Breakout Performer
[player_tooltip player_id='2830599' first='Silas' last='Cram'], 6-5, Sr., F, Tomah
Cram continues to take positive strides in his game and appears ready to have a big senior season for the Timberwolves of Tomah. A versatile forward with good size and strength, Cram can score from the perimeter and in the paint. He finished with 23 points in a win over Westby and 24 in a victory over Mineral Point. Cram scored off drives to the basket, from the foul line and from outside the three-point line in Prairie du Chien. He also is a solid rim protector who runs the floor and loves to finish in transition. Cram and senior sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id='2371688' first='Quinn' last='Gerke'] give Tomah a pair of players that can get Tomah 20--plus points on any given night.

Pools C/D All-Tournament Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2914986' first='Zack' last='Bender'], 6-3, Sr., North Crawford
[player_tooltip player_id='3122937' first='Ethan' last='Cicero'], 6-0, Sr., Lancaster
[player_tooltip player_id='2830599' first='Silas' last='Cram'], 6-5, Sr., F, Tomah
[player_tooltip player_id='3681239' first='Landon' last='Edgerton'], 6-1, Sr., Darlington
[player_tooltip player_id='2815320' first='Maddux' last='Fencl'], 5-11, Sr., Westby
[player_tooltip player_id='2371688' first='Quinn' last='Gerke'], 6-2, Sr., Tomah
[player_tooltip player_id='3430520' first='Deakyn' last='Heisz'], 6-1, Sr., Richland Center
[player_tooltip player_id='3572291' first='Evan' last='Ketelhut'], 5-8, Frosh., Onalaska
[player_tooltip player_id='2405197' first='Tyler' last='Kowal'], 5-11, Jr., Onalaska
[player_tooltip player_id='2886158' first='Damien' last='McCormick'], 6-2, Soph., North Crawford
[player_tooltip player_id='2815419' first='Griffin' last='Nelson'], 5-11, Sr., Westby
[player_tooltip player_id='2630123' first='Aiden' last='Patterson'], 6-2, Jr., Mineral Point
[player_tooltip player_id='2509451' first='Jayden' last='Schoepp'], 6-1, Sr., Richland Center
[player_tooltip player_id='2140985' first='Tyce' last='Sylvester'], 5-9, Sr., Mineral Point
[player_tooltip player_id='3484475' first='Lukas' last='Weber'], 6-2, Jr., Lancaster
[player_tooltip player_id='2505508' first='Zeke' last='Zuberbuhler'], 6-2, Sr., Darlington

Pool E Standings
Luther 3-0, Southwestern 2-1, Prairie du Chien 1-2, Seneca 0-3.

Pool F Standings
Whitehall 3-0, River Ridge 2-1, Fennimore 1-2, De Soto 0-3.

Pools E/F Most Valuable Player
[player_tooltip player_id='2830663' first='Javon' last='Zenke'], 6-3, Soph., G/F, Luther
Zenke overpowers opponents with his imposing size, strength and skill. One of the better class of 2029 prospects in Wisconsin, Zenke was outstanding in helping Luther to a 3-0 record as he rebounded well, scored a good level and was disruptive on defense. Coming off a freshman season where he averaged 10.5 points per contest, Zenks is one of the leaders for a young but very talented Luther program that figures to contend for the title in the Coulee Conference next season.

Pools E/F Breakout Performer
[player_tooltip player_id='3022930' first='Cayden' last='Platteter'], 6-1, Sr., G, Whitehall
Platteter helped Whitehall to a 3-0 record with his ability to score and defend. He averaged 10.0 ppg as a junior at Whitehall and carried that penchant for finding the bottom of the net over to Prairie du Chien. Platteter's consistency and ability to score from deep and from the mid range were instrumental to Whitehall's success. His experience and court savvy figure to be huge assets for Whitehall next winter.

Pools E/F All-Tournament Team
[player_tooltip player_id='3019659' first='Eli' last='Brosinski'], 5-8, Jr., De Soto
[player_tooltip player_id='3022002' first='Noah' last='Copsey'], 5-10, Sr., River Ridge
[player_tooltip player_id='3598041' first='Basil' last='Hall'], 5-10, Jr., Seneca
[player_tooltip player_id='3294941' first='JJ' last='Abdul-Haqq'], 6-0, Soph., Luther
[player_tooltip player_id='2917254' first='Reece' last='Kelley'], 5-9, Sr., Fennimore
[player_tooltip player_id='3681289' first='Elias' last='Kimbler'], 6-4, Jr., Prairie du Chien
[player_tooltip player_id='3019946' first='Jake' last='Kretschman'], 6-3, Sr., Fennimore
[player_tooltip player_id='3139343' first='Sam' last='Martin'], 6-2, Soph., Southwestern
[player_tooltip player_id='2821147' first='Tim' last='Mueller'], 5-10, Frosh., Luther
[player_tooltip player_id='3022930' first='Cayden' last='Platteter'], 6-1, Sr., Whitehall
[player_tooltip player_id='3288236' first='Kameren' last='Reynolds'], 6-0, Sr., River Ridge
[player_tooltip player_id='2822992' first='Carsen' last='Splinter'], 5-11, Sr., Southwestern
[player_tooltip player_id='2922045' first='Cayden' last='Sutter'], 5-10, Jr. Prairie du Chien
[player_tooltip player_id='2815287' first='Adam' last='Venner'], 6-5, Sr., De Soto
[player_tooltip player_id='3569803' first='Jaxx' last='Wall'], 5-10, Soph., Seneca
[player_tooltip player_id='2406760' first='William' last='Youngbauer'], 5-10, Sr., Whitehall
[player_tooltip player_id='2830663' first='Javon' last='Zenke'], 6-3, Soph., Luther
