Worthington Kilbourne looks like they could be one of the more improved teams in central Ohio next season with Wolford leading the charge. Wolford rebounded and blocked shots well, providing a strong interior presence for his group. Offensively, Wolford had a couple nice kickout passes to shooters and used the spin move to create space to finish. Wolford had a big game all around and even left a few points at the rim in this one. One of the top 2027 forwards in central Ohio, Wolford is a name to know for regional small college programs.

It was nice to see Hester playing with aggressiveness and confidence in the paint against a younger team he was older and stronger than at the frontcourt. Hester had multiple catch and finishes with his back to the basket, making quick and decisive moves to the rim. His best finish of the game came when he used the drop step to finish with his left hand at the rim. Toledo St Francis will still be one of the tallest front courts in Ohio next season even after the graduation of star big Alan Horton thanks to guys like Hester.

A true glue guy, Gill did whatever was asked of him today for a Princeton squad that was tested against some top teams from across Ohio. Gill has the positional strength and toughness to defend up positionally, being aggressive against taller players. The lefty also knocked down a handful of 3-pointers off the catch, knocking down back-to-back shots against Hilliard Bradley during a big Princeton run. Look for Gill to provide extra depth and toughness for a Vikings squad that will have hopes of going back to back in March.

Looking right at home in a New Jersey, the Sam brothers put forth a dominant performance to wrap up their day with a blowout win over Mansfield Senior. Sam had a big game, scoring well from the baseline area where he could knock down a set shot, attack a closeout and finish above the rim or make an extra pass to a teammate. Sam is a physical wing who can hit shots and he flashed his athletic ability with a slam dunk off a steal of an inbounds pass. One of the top 2027 prospects from the Dayton area, Sam should be on scholarship radars this summer.

One of the fastest rising senior prospects in the Midwest, Evans continued his ascension on Thursday with some big performances for Pickerington Central. Evans rise began during a playoff run that saw the Tigers win the region and make it to the state final four. With a new look team with a bunch of younger faces, Evans and Albert Moore III are the constants from last season for the Tigers. Evans did an excellent job getting to his spots and scoring in the mid-range area. Evans is a powerful athlete who can thrive in transition and use his strength and toughness to win rebounding and loose ball battles and when the jumper is falling, he's one of the most productive players in Ohio's 2027 class. With his recent rise, Evans will debut in Prep Hoops National 2027 rankings next week during the update.
