USE CODE “baxley30” FOR 30% OFF THE FIRST PURCHASE OF ANY SUBSCRIPTION

The Under Armour Grind Session at DL6 featured talent from multiple classes, but the 2028 group put together one of the more impressive showings of the weekend. With a mix of established names and rising prospects, several players consistently caught the eye through their production, feel for the game, and overall impact on winning. Here are five 2028 standouts who left a strong impression in Greenville and continue to trend in the right direction.

[player_tooltip player_id='3657747' first='Corrithian' last='Bowser'] has been one of the true breakout players in South Carolina this spring. He's been a frequent standout with [program_tooltip program_id='3599030' first='No' last='Guts No Glory SC'] all season long, and he was at his best again this weekend at UA Grind Greenville. Bowser is a balanced backcourt weapon, capable of creating a bucket for himself or for a teammate off the bounce. In a matchup with Top Shot Grind on Saturday, Corinthian totaled 14 points and 6 assists, showcasing his feel for finishing at the rim, earning trips to the free-throw line, and making the right pass to keep the offense flowing.

Another NGNG SC 2028 who caught my eye this weekend is Kenon. I've been familiar with Jonah's game since the high school season, but he was one whom I really wanted to monitor in Greenville to see how he's developed. He was as active on the offensive glass as any big that I saw in the event, earning several second-opportunities for his team and even converting a few himself. Kenon was effective as a single big and next to a second one because it freed him up to be even more active as a rebounder and allowed him to show some of his polish from 15 feet and in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630771' first='Kaleb' last='Allen'] was one of, if not the most exciting, prospects in the gym on Saturday. He's taken some massive steps with his development over the past few months and will have college coaches knocking on his door in the very near future. One of the things that Kaleb has improved with is his playmaking ability. He has turned from a guy who only ends possessions into a guy who can start them and run offense for his team. Allen's length and athleticism will always jump out at you, but if he continues to be a well-rounded player with facilitating, shooting, and defense, he has a chance to be special.

One in-state forward whom I continue to be higher on than most is Lassiter. Despite being listed at just 6'4", Jayden plays bigger than his height because of his strong frame and high motor inside the paint. Jayden went for 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists off the bench in a big win over AGNS on Saturday, displaying his ability to finish with either hand through contact, control the glass on both ends, and play within the flow of the game offensively. Like his teammate Allen, I was also impressed with the passing ability of Lassister, and that could be an intriguing piece of his development down the line.

[player_tooltip player_id='3300670' first='Andre' last='Seay'] rounds out my list of Eye-Catching 2028s at UA Grind Greenville. Seay runs with [program_tooltip program_id='2076394' first='Carolina' last='Premier'] Upstate Red, and I've been really impressed by what I've seen from him this spring. He has consistently been a high-level Point Guard for his team, no matter the setting. Andre is gifted with quick foot speed and is an excellent processor at pace. He is creative as both a finisher and a passer, which helps negate a lack of size. He also brings defensive effort every time he steps on the floor, which sets the tone for the rest of his team. Seay finished with 9 points and 5 assists in a win over Jersey Legends.
