It's still super early in their careers but the 2029 class have now had a full high school season as well as half of their 15u AAU seasons under their belts. There are still plenty of new names emerging and we even had a top 10 player transfer into the state since the last update. Here's a look at the top ranked point guards in our updated rankings. This does not include any players who were already featured in our top ten article.

Rajon is a guard who qualifies as both quick and fast. He excels at getting into the paint where he can finish or be a facilitator who creates clean looks for his teammates. To reach his ceiling, Floyd will have to become a more consistent three point shooter. Defensively, Floyd has the ability to be a disruptor who can be a true 2 way guard.

Ferguson is already one of the best guards in the 13th region and should make even more of an impact moving forward. Capable of scoring at a high rate, Braxton has not had to force much on the offensive end. As he gets older, I expect Ferguson to become more of a primary scoring option for Bell and should continue being one of the top guards in this class.

House is one of the more proficient scorers in this class. He had a strong 8th grade season at Meade County before he transferred to North Hardin. Once there, Cam continued his high scoring ways. He likely becomes the go to scorer for the Trojans next year. If he grows, Cam should be one of the best prospects in this class, when you're talking about guards.

From one Cam to another, Hobson was the top freshman in Lexington this past season and looks like he has the potential to score 2000+ points in his high school career. Cameron needs to get stronger and add bulk to his thin frame. As a Sophomore, look for Hobson to be one of the top guards in Lexington after the city just graduated a ton of talent.

Chase doesn't get all the notoriety that his brother does but he's a talented player in his own right. Sears is a high IQ player who can really shoot it. Still developing as a playmaker, Chase has the potential to be a lead guard on a very good Montgomery County team that has aspirations of getting back to Rupp Arena.
