Maryland/DC 2021 Rankings Overview
Here’s a broad overview of our initial top-35 rankings for the class of 2021, taking a look at some of the trends we’ve seen so far. Stay tuned for more in depth breakdowns!
VICTORY STARTS AT THE TOP
We project Victory Naboya of St. John’s to be a high major division one post prospect, and he is hands down the best big in the local 2021 class. In fact, there are no other true centers ranked in our initial top-35. We expect Naboya to be closely tracked by high majors as he continues to grow into his body, develop his skills, and becomes a more consistent producer.
CONWAY LEADS A TALENTED PG CROP
Ryan Conway is our top ranked point guard, and was in the convo four our number one overall spot as a result of his ability to consistently produce along with his high basketball IQ, work rate, and impressive skill set. As our positional breakdown below indicates, over half of our initial rankings consist of lead guard prospects, and we believe each of them has something different to offer. Darrius Tilghman is definitely another name who has really turned some heads in his first year, and we look forward to seeing him continue to develop throughout his high school career.
