The Prep Hoops national rankings updated last week and there are 11 prospects who Prep Hoops have ranked significantly higher than any of the other main 3 non-paywalled national basketball rankings websites (247, Rivals, ESPN) and in this article we'll take a look at six prospects and discuss why Prep Hoops is buying stock in them long term.

One of the top underclassmen scorers on the Nike Scholastic circuit, McKnight Jr had an excellent season with the ball in his hands a lot for Long Island Lutheran. Required to make plays and shots on a nightly basis, McKnight Jr had some monster offensive games with scoring explosions. Interested to see how he looks this summer in grassroots games as he is very prepared for any type of defense that will be thrown at him.

Playing internationally for the German national team at the youth level, Anderson is the younger brother of Texas Tech star Christian Anderson and has similar perimeter shooting ability as his big brother. Joining [program_tooltip program_id='2076309' first='Southern' last='Assault'] this summer, I wouldn't be surprised if Anderson is one of the top scorers and 3-point shooters on the 3SSB circuit this summer. I'm surprised none of 247, ESPN or Rivals have Anderson in the top 100 right now but would expect that to change this summer if Anderson performs how I expect him to.

A player who has shined in limited minutes, Uvwo is still a major project and needs lots of further development to reach his ceiling. With that being said, the upside for Uvwo is through the roof. With elite physical tools like length, explosiveness and quickness for his size, Uvwo pops as the Nigerian youth international popped for Prolific Prep at various Grind Session events. Look for Uvwo to become a household name across the country this summer.

The Nike scholastic league champions had a handful of players really emerge this season and Robinson was a consistent performer for CIA Bella Vista. Taking a recent visit to Creighton, Robinson could be one of the first recruits targeted by the Head Coach in waiting. Robinson also stood out in basketball without borders as the Canadian international projects as an impact 3-and-D wing guard at the mid major plus to high major level early in his college career.

A recent state champion, Tisby had an impressive junior season for Cross Creek. Holding offers to Xavier, Florida State, South Carolina and a handful of mid major programs, Tisby has the perimeter shooting ability, length and two-way upside that high major programs are looking for on the wing. Expect Tisby's name to continue to generate buzz, especially during June live periods with Cross Creek.

A player who Prep Hoops has been ahead of the industry on for a while, Lundy has made the switch from New Heights on the 3SSB circuit for 16 U to Team Final on the EYBL circuit for 17 U. Lundy impressed with Archbishop Wood in the historic Philly Catholic league, earning first team all-conference honors after scoring north of 18 PPG this season. With no new posted offers since the summer, it seems like colleges haven't been as quick to offer Lundy as I've anticipated but he already has some top regional mid-major programs and might opt to crush it there to begin his college career.
