Bikoy spoke with Prep Hoops after the game about the recent improvements he’s made to his overall game, and his goals moving forward.
PH: What type of improvements have you made to your overall game in the last year or so?
JB: “I feel like I’ve become a better shooter. I also feel like I’ve become a better leader. Just talking to my teammates and trying to make everybody better.
PH: What are you working on now?
JB: I’m just trying to be a more consistent shooter and ball handler. Just attack the basket. I need to work on finishing. Different types of finishes.
PH: How did you become a better leader?
JB: “Wynston (Tabbs). He really helped me. He’s been like a mentor to me. Like a big brother. Him leaving now. I feel like I have to be that person who steps up. Just talking to my teammates and encouraging them.”
PH: How are your grades right now?
JB: “Right now I’m at around a 3.0, but I’m trying to get them even better.”
PH: What are your goals for this summer?
JB: “Just to improve. Try to get my name out there.”
