Freeman is known to be Middlesex's best player, but he still continues to impress me every time I watch him. Yesterday, he did an excellent job moving without the ball; he has a good understanding of how to use screens and whether to refuse them, slip them, or curl them, and he's a super smart cutter. These off ball skills will allow him to seamlessly fit into the next level, especially with his ability to play on the ball as well, whether it be with a pick and roll or in isolation. He had a couple big buckets down the stretch and is able to score it from all three levels. Freeman should be a nice piece for Rollins College next season.

Deluties is a key offensive player for Middlesex and has a good amount of the offense run for him. Because of his versatility and ability to score from all three levels, as well as his ability to come off screens effectively, he's a tough cover on the perimeter whether he has the ball or not. He can make shots from three, and he's a lot stronger on drives to the rim than he looks given his slight build. I'm not sure what Deluties is doing for next season, but he should probably be able to find a college fit at the D3 level.

Badoian is a tough, two-way guard who's more important to Middlesex School than the stat sheet would suggest. He runs the show for his squad and is a true table-setter when it comes to making things easy for his teammates offensively; he throws on-time, on-target passes to cutters and he's supremely unselfish, so he's the exact type of player you want to play with if you're a scoring big or wing. Defensively, Badoian did an excellent job on [player_tooltip player_id='2878930' first='Myles' last='Dehaney'], who had been going off as of late for Proctor. Heck of a game from Badoian.

O'Neil stands at 6-foot-4 and has a super quick and accurate three-point release. He made multiple shots from long range yesterday, some of which were in spot up situations and some of which were on movement. But I was most impressed with his ability to defend opposing guards and wings; he seemed more engaged on that end and than I've seen him in the past and used his size and length to his advantage. Added strength would be huge for his college hopes, but has what it takes to play at the next level.

Scorza is ridiculously intriguing. For a 6-foot-6 freshman, he does an excellent job moving without the ball and has a shooting stroke that's already pretty advanced. He's able to handle the ball in small spaces and attack closeouts far better than most kids his size and age, and his coach tells me he's one of the hardest workers on the team. Scorza is apparently playing AAU with House We Built this spring, and he is going to be a major name to know in New England for multiple years to come. The Canadian prospect will continue to get better and has a super bright future ahead.

Huff is a really solid athlete who did tons of little things for Proctor yesterday. He did a commendable job guarding Freeman on the defensive end, where he used his size, speed, and athleticism to stay in front of the D2 commit. Offensively, he hit a three and had some solid takes to the rim, but it's his affinity for the ball and doing little things that makes him valuable. He's tough when it comes to hunting down the rock, and he'll guard anyone of any size and skill set. The junior needs to improve his handle, but he has another year to do so.
