12p 12r 4a 1s vs New Hope

-Love Floyd’s willingness to do the dirty work at both ends of the floor to serve as an underrated but important piece to the puzzle for a young Bullis group in need of that unselfish leadership. Floyd turned in a double-double performance as a mobile W/F tweener capable of coming up with tough rebounds in traffic that immediately looks to outlet the basketball to get the fastbreak opportunity rolling in the opposite direction. He runs the floor well, times his cuts to the basket, and has improved both his touch around the basket with either hand and his finishing bag around the rim as the game has now slowed down for him at both ends of the floor. Excited to see how his game develops over the next two years.

-The transfer from Northwest HS played well in spurs this season as he adjusted to the speed of IAC basketball. Our scouts are high on his long term upside as a versatile defender that can effectively guard 1-3 while serving as an off-ball cutter and shooter from the wings. If he can add weight to his frame and play more assertively at the offensive end of the floor, I expect him to continue to rise in our rankings.

2p 2r 1s 1b vs Georgetown Prep

-The sophomore wing looked good in his minutes throughout the game as a rangy prospect that can impact the game in several different areas. His size and movement skills allow him to be used in different spots within the Bulldogs lineup as a switchable defender. Floyd transferred into Bullis this summer and I am high on his long-term upside as a prospect once he becomes more acclimated with the offensive and defensive systems that Coach runs throughout the game.
