Stock Tips – Who is up, who is down?
Buy low, sell high.
Even though there is no money in college basketball (wink), this will be a fun exercise revealing which players are climbing, flat-lining, or plummeting.
This are short trends and are not indicative of longterm potential. Always discuss your investments first with your Financial Planner first.
⇑ James Wiseman (Bluff City Legends 17u)
After enduring a physical pounding from Kofi Cockburn Saturday morning, James “Big Ticket” Wiseman provided a prolonged glimpse of what makes him great now and potentially greater later. Wiseman gave Expressions a step-back three pointer. You haven’t lived until you see a 7-footer step back.
Wiseman’s wingspan is staggering. As he keeps developing comfort in his elongated body Wiseman just gets more and more frightening.
Big Game James helped create a three-interior-pass play, which Malcolm Dandridge capped with two-handed crush of the backboard. You never see so many passes inside 5′.
His weakness was always toughness, but he is becoming more comfortable with the banging. Always a soft-touch shooter, Wiseman can become a more sturdy player around 250+ pound bigs. As highly as Wiseman is ranked and revered you can still buy now and experience key growth in your investment.
↓ Jason Jitoboh (Woodz Elite 17u)
The 2019 center sustained a minor injury Saturday morning. Before he was helped gingerly off the court, Jitoboh struggled against Team Takeover (DC). The DC bigs jumped the passing lanes on him with great success.
Woodz Elite 17u Jason Jitoboh really struggling. Well, his whole team is. Down 30-11 to Takeover. The Team Takeover bigs are expertly denying the post feed with gambling big men. They are simply springing around Jitoboh to intercept passes.

⇑ Tre Edwards (UPlay 17u)
I just moved Tre Edwards up to #4 in the Class of 2019. Keep an eye as he may be reclassing up to 2018 very, very soon. Still, Edwards scored big on Expressions Elite. The lithe junior wing scored 18 points to lead his UPlay Canada team to a impressive victory.
Edwards needs to improve his on-ball defense and sometimes mentally drifts when rebounding. Simple block outs escape his focus and it winds up hurting his team. This is not an every play occurrence, but you don’t get to take plays off at the top levels of basketball.
Tre Edwards maintains one elite skill and that is outside shooting.
⇑ Keishawn Davison (Bluff City Legends 17u)
Last summer Keishawn Davison (PrepHoops #21) ran with Team Loaded NC. He did really well, but Oakland High School slightly underperformed this winter. Davison didn’t match up well with Trenton Gibson (Blackman) or the entire Blaze unit. Davison remains ultra-quick and thin. He showed off several outside jumpers Saturday. The outside shot will be his redemption.
Keishawn is a player that has the physical tools. He needs to take more control though. On the court Davison doesn’t vocalize much for a floor leader. Saturday was a strong indication that his skills match up with the best the EYBL has to offer.
