3/15/24:  Christian Alston (Bartlett) was fantastic in his final high school game.  Without his 50% shooting, the remaining Panthers shot just 8-28. As a rebounder, Altson pulled down four offensive rebounds to help his team to second chances.

Alston possesses excellent quickness and ball handling ability to penetrate into the lane with ease. He finishes creatively around the rim through contact. From mid-range, Alston pulls up smoothly off the dribble and knocks down shots from 15-18 feet consistently. On the perimeter, he maintains great mechanics on his jumper, keeping defenders honest.

Defensively, Alston utilizes his lateral foot speed and active hands to disrupt the opposition. He is capable of guarding multiple positions, seamlessly switching from the point guard to small forward. Alston frequently came up with timely steals and deflections by anticipating passes in the lane.

His quickness, shot making ability, and defensive prowess make him an impact player on both ends of the court. As he continues to expand his game, Alston has the potential to develop into one of the most dynamic guards in the state.

The 6-5 forward brought all the tools with him to Day 1 of the NCAA Academy as he has good size, length and footwork where he can play multiple positions on the floor. He is also a smart passer as well as can contribute on and off the ball. Alston has also continued to improve to be one of the best three-level shooters in the state of Tennessee. On the defensive end he brought a ton of physicality where he was battling on the boards and can play a big role heading into his senior season.
