Hot starts have launched new names into the spotlight, while others are still building toward their breakthrough. This class is far from settled, and the board is already shifting. Here are some of the prospects who are new to the rankings that made it impossible not to add them this time around.    Jack has waited his time, and now that it is finally here, he's making the most of it. And we've noticed. On the season, Jack has been a consistent spark for the team. He's been an inside attacker; he's gotten inside and had his moments. In a win over Mead, he erupted with a career-high 19 points. He was a force on the boards; he had his best game defensively and showed that he has some upside to his game. He's a player that we haven't seen a ton of, but from the moments that we did see, he's a prospect we're intrigued by. He jumps onto the rankings.     Murray finally makes it into the rankings this go-round, and he seems to have found a groove. He's finally playing, and now that he's back, there's been another reliable scorer to go to. He's a volume scorer who is assertive offensively. He gets to his spots, he's capable of extending the floor, and he also makes it a point to get to the FT line. He's also been one of the team's top rebounders, and that makes them a bit more dynamic. He makes a push in the rankings and is a player we certainly want to see more to finish the year and over the Summer and Fall. He's on our radar.     Edwards is a player whom we have seen a few times, and he's been thrown into the fire. He's delivered as a big body who does not shy away from contact, he defends bigs and rebounds in bunches. We've also seen some power through baskets, which makes him a weapon down low. Edwards has been a down-low force who sets hard screens and rolls. He is putting up 4 rebounds a game and is one of the team's enforcers. He's having his moment right now and is an X-factor that opens things up for Denver East. He jumps onto the rankings with his play.     Lutheran is going to be a team that we start hearing more and more from as they return a pretty big name over there and move into the contender category. But one of the players who has benefited from more play, who has been their backup guards, Hastedt who has been impactful. He's a consistent scorer who reads the floor, he is a confident shooter who excels with the ball in his hands, and he also fills it up with boards as well. When he is operating the offense, it seems to flow a bit more as he has great vision and IQ and is a willing passer. He's a prospect who we have enjoyed watching and want to see more of as he does it all for Lutheran.     Holy Family is undefeated on the season as they have a balanced attack and role players who understands what it takes to win. One of those players who is about sacrifice and is having a productive season is their athletic junior guard. Gunnar has been a leader on the court who plays hard, brings energy to the team, and has delivered. He does all of the little things and has shown to be a defensive menace. He grabs boards, he sets up the offense, and gets downhill. He understands what's needed from him on a nightly basis, and contenders need that kind of consistency. He jumps on the rankings for the first time.     Mead is in a rut that we haven't seen for quite some time, and is looking to get back on track. A player for them who has served as a do-it-all prospect has been Brennan. Brennan comes in with the right attitude and wanting to serve. He's playing hard on both ends, comes in the game and tries to make an impact and trying everything to get them right. He's a solid rebounder, has games where he looks to be a defensive game changer, and if others are playing with this same effort, I feel they can start getting some wins on the board. He makes the rankings for the first time.     Ridge is making his rankings debut, and while his numbers may not jump off the page, he's a game-changer who helps with the identity of the team. He's a hard worker who leaves it all out on the floor. He plays the right way, he's a difference maker with his ability to impact the game with the ball in his hands. He also has his moment where he's asked to score, and he delivers there as well. He's a prospect who understands how defense and trying to impact the game on that end can help with the overall play of the team. He's a prospect we want to see more of, and feel his play often goes unnoticed, so we wanted to give a shout out to him.
