[player_tooltip player_id='2435271' first='Kannon' last='Axdahl'] of Eastview (grade 8). A 6'4 forward that has really started to emerge as of late. He had 12 point and eight boards against East Ridge and he got multiple hands on Tomes shots totaling three blocks which is eye opening itself. Had game clinching foul shots against Lakeville North last night scoring eight points.

Colton Betts of Chisago Lakes (Sr). The six foot senior guard stepped forward with [player_tooltip player_id='1560843' first='Cohen' last='Underhill'] out and led the Cats past Princeton 74-71. Betts had a team high 20 points highlighted by six threes made plus he dished out five assists and grabbed seven boards. It was a big win for Chisago Lakes and Betts was a big reason they pulled off the upset.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569253' first='Leo' last='Clifford'] of St. Paul Highland Park (Jr). Clifford flashed that good looking release to hit three threes against Humboldt as he continues to average 20 points a game. Clifford mixed in a variety of scores also using the pull-up, the attack in the halfcourt and in transition, he also went to the occasional left hand to complete. Looking like an All league player in the City.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140710' first='Willie' last='Moore'] of Owatonna (Jr). A player that keeps the defense guessing. The hesitation move, the crossover, the step back off a screen or avoiding the help, Moore comes at teams from a lot of ways. He is skilled but more than that, Willie is smart and creative. Moore is scoring 16 points a game and shooting 41 percent from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560804' first='Joey' last='Sutherland'] of Grand Rapids (Sr). Joey has his team start the season at 7-3 with teammates like [player_tooltip player_id='2814304' first='Gavin' last='Wegwerth'] and Brenden Sylvester emerge as really good players around them. Sutherland, who has had a solid year and has shown some explosion this year too, had a chance to go against a couple D2 recruits from Bemidji and Joey scored 27 points in leading his team to a big win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417085' first='Javaun' last='Watson'] of Robbinsdale Armstrong (Sr). The 6'5 forward really grabbed our attention at a few events last 17u season and so far this winter he's battled his way to 17 points a game. Watson is a player that is just willing to win that extra foot to score, to rebound, to get a contest or block. The type of competitor that wants that extra space and battles to earn it. He's a player that local schools are starting to call on more and more.
