Top new guards from 2028 rankings update part 2

Averaging over 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists per game, Chivers just flat out produces for his team. A stockier lead guard, Chivers isn't afraid to try and play a bully ball style of play. I also am encouraged by Chivers getting over two steals per game, showing his natural instincts on the defensive end of the court. When evaluating undersized guards, they need to be tough, quick and get to the rim. Jordan checks all three of those boxes as he is a relentless on ball defender and gets to the paint off the dribble at will. Jordan had 19 points and 5 steals in one of the opening games of Groveport Madison's season and those stats are the result of the skills mentioned above. Alexander is not afraid to take and make the big shot and he's averaged over 25 PPG in the first three Waverly wins of the season. The last guard from Waverly with this much juice was Trey Robertson and he finished with over 2,000 high school points and has been a three year starter at Rio Grande University. The quickness that Williams III has allows him to stay in front of pretty much anybody he defends on the perimeter and his pressure annoys ball handlers so much they consistently try and push off when Williams III is guarding the ball, forcing offensive fouls. Williams III is also coming off a dominant football season for the Spartans, finishing in the top 10 of the state in receiving yards for sophomores according to max preps.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
