On Monday, November 3rd we released our updated and expanded Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings. Over the course of the last few months we have continued to evaluate across summer grassroots events, fall showcases and leagues, and our travels to specific high schools to watch their preseason workouts. As always, we look to update our rankings every few months and we wanted to get this latest update done before the start of the upcoming high school season. We were able to expand a big from ranking the Top 35 to the Top 50 while adding over 50 prospects in total bringing the Class of 2028 database to nearly 500 prospects. Over the course of this week we will be diving deeper into the rankings by highlighting stock-risers, new names, top watch list names, and much more. Let's dive on in.

This guy can flat out fill it up. Fetz had some of the most impressive individual performances of the summer playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2383637' first='Summit' last='City Elite'] Black. He is an outstanding shot creator for himself with some legitimate three-level scoring ability. The 5'10" guard can really stretch the floor with his shooting ability, but is also comfortable getting downhill to the basket. Look for him to put up some big numbers this season at Mississinewa High School. Fetz is now ranked #39 in the class.

One of the more explosive guards that we watched this summer, Harrell played in several Prep Hoops Circuit events and consistently caught our attention. The 6'0" guard is explosive end-to-end, gets to the rim off of the bounce, and finishes up above the trees inside. He is a gifted scorer off of the bounce with some real straight line quickness. The Evansville Harrison High School guard looks to be one of the best prospects in the Pocket City area.

Size and physicality are two traits that stand out right away when evaluating this guard/wing. Jackson is bigger than most of his peers at his position standing at 6'5" with a strong build. He is unafraid of playing through contact and can really bully other guards on his way to the basket. After a strong freshman season at Marion High School, Jackson will join a talented sophomore class at Anderson High School this season. He is now ranked #42 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings.

Kobe is such a fluid, smooth athlete. He operates really well with the ball in his hands showcasing the ability to serve as a primary playmaker. However, he also can space the floor as a shooter and is explosive when attacking from the catch. The 6'1" guard got his feet wet at the varsity level as a freshman at Portage High School and is more than ready to step into a larger role this season. He is now ranked #40 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings.

We first started to get our eyes on Smith during June while North Central High School was playing at the Tuesday night PAC League. Then, he came and earned top performer status at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. The 6'4"-6'5" guard has impressive positional size and length. He handles the ball like a point guard and definitely processes the game like one. His passing ability might be his most impressive trait right now. Smith is now ranked #42 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028.

The Tri-West sophomore class is loaded with talent and several of them played key roles at the varsity level as freshmen. Thomas was the most productive of the group averaging 9.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game for the Bruins as a freshman. The 5'10" guard is an explosive driver that can aggressively slice his way to the rim off of the bounce. His outside shot, 22-58 (37.9%) is definitely good enough to keep the defense honest as well. Thomas makes his debut at #45 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings.
