Hoop Group's Fall Elite Camp tour got underway last month, with the second stop being the Mid-Atlantic Fall Elite Camp held at Hoop Group Headquarters in Neptune, NJ. The event gave several under-the-radar prospects a valuable opportunity to compete in front of a number of high-academic college coaches. Easily the most well established prospect in the gym, [player_tooltip player_id='2201945' first='Andrew' last='Kretkowski'] was much of himself during 5 on 5 live action— an ultra aggressive and physical downhill attacker that played with an insanely high motor all over the floor. Kretkowski generated an immense amount of rim pressure both with the ways he was able to attack driving lanes off closeouts as well as capitalizing off transition opportunities. Kretkowski had a number of vertical finishes in transition running the lanes while also pushing the break himself and finishing through contact. Kretkowski also flashed his shot making ability in a variety of ways with his face up game in the mid post as well as off the bounce getting to his mid range pull up. Desrosiers showcased his improving guard skills with his ability to handle the basketball against opposing pressure and make keen decisions with the ball in his hands. Possessing a tighter and more confident handle as of late, Desrosiers impressed with his ability to initiate offense and often times make the right read to keep the defense honest.     A skilled scoring guard with a creative handle, Mouhamed Cisse strung together some strong moments that highlighted his creativity and quickness off the bounce in the crafty ways he was able to break his defender down and get to the rim. Cisse also shined as a finisher in transition both running the floor and getting ahead of the defense as well as pushing the break himself.     An immediate eye catcher just off the eye test with the elite physical tools he possesses, [player_tooltip player_id='2336724' first='Deng' last='Deng'] impressed with not only his relentless motor but also his commanding rim presence on both ends of the floor. Although a little raw and still developing, Deng showed flashes of being a solid finisher, particularly catching dump offs from the dunker spot and from occasional post up opportunities. With the elite length he possesses paired with his solid athleticism, Deng also put together moments of being an authoritative defensive anchor— an ultimate rim protector with good timing and effective area rebounding.     A smooth combo guard who's poised off the bounce creating for himself at multiple levels, [player_tooltip player_id='2948559' first='Jayden' last='Opoku'] exhibited his instinctive and pure ability to put the ball in the basket. A unique combination of creativity off the dribble paired with natural scoring touch from different areas on the floor, Opoku seemed comfortable getting to almost anywhere he wanted on the court.     A versatile guard with a physically sound frame who contributed in multiple categories, [player_tooltip player_id='2081040' first='Connor' last='Lee'] displayed the different ways he was able to put the ball in the basket. Lee had a number of strong and crafty finishes in transition while also making a number of plays in the open floor, highlighting both his feel for the game and versatility as a basketball player. Lee also showed flashes of his shot making ability with a few mid range pull ups.     One of the more under the radar prospects from Friday night's action, [player_tooltip player_id='2926799' first='Jayden' last='Cummings'] turned heads with not only his eye popping athleticism but also his fluid and compact shooting ability. With intriguing length paired with his quick anticipation skills as an off ball defender, Cummings strung together a number of moments where turned defense into offense and flashed his athleticism on a number of above the rim athletic finishes in transition. In half court scenarios, Cummings was effective off the ball, spacing the floor as a catch and shoot threat, as he made defenses pay a handful of times for late contested closeouts.     A high powered guard who exhibited good feel for the game, [player_tooltip player_id='2980759' first='AJ' last='Farrell'] shined in the ways he was able to make things happen with the ball in his hands. Farrell demonstrated his ability to be a poised, confident, and decisive PnR operator— mixing in creative finishes with touch around the basket and on time passes to cutting and diving teammates. An athletic and long guard who was active on the defensive end, Farrell also made a number of plays turning defense into offense and flashing some athletic finishes in transition on the other end.     [player_tooltip player_id='2130637' first='Samir' last='Kastrat'] delivered a standout performance Friday evening as a dangerous catch and shoot threat. Kastrat exhibited his quick trigger in which he only needs a glimmer of space to get his shot off against opposing defenses. Kastrat also showed flashes of his ability to make things happen and make smart decisions with the ball in his hands alongside his ability to initiate offense and set the table for the offense.     A poised and decisive ball handler with a confident and tight handle, [player_tooltip player_id='2504507' first='Jayden' last='Robinson'] impressed with his ability to remain poised against opposing pressure and often times make the right read with the ball in his hands. Robinson also demonstrated his ability to find opportunistic driving angles attacking the basket and showcasing some crafty finishes around the basket.
