flourish in a more featured role offensively than he was typically used to during his sophomore season at St. Joe’s Metuchen. Tasked with a lot of on ball duties that require offensive initiation as a primary ball handler and scoring from different areas on the floor, Carr’s looked a little more comfortable generating offense for himself— creating separation off the bounce and knocking down perimeter looks while also attacking driving angles to get in the paint and finish around the basket.
With excellent positional size and fluid movement skills, Carr has the necessary physical tools to continue expanding and sharpening his overall skill set moving forward and if continuing on the right track could later down the line garner attention from scholarship level coaches at the next level.

supplied excellent spot minutes off the bench, particularly with his impact on the defensive end of the floor. Defending with tremendous effort and energy, Carr demonstrated his value as a versatile defender— not only being physical and disruptive against bigger defenders in the low post but also out on the perimeter sliding his feet against quicker guards.

Expected to provide both depth and positional size for St. Joe’s backcourt rotation this season, Carr is slated to step into a role that emphasizes spot up shooting along with secondary ball handling and some playmaking responsibilities. His play and skillset should underscore his versatility and effectiveness both with and without the ball. Combined with his notable positional size and smooth and fluid movement, Carr has a foundation that should continue to elevate and refine his overall skill set moving forward.

has thrived in different settings this fall that’ve highlighted his ability to be effective in two completely different roles. One of the brightest performers from Hoop Group’s Mid-Atlantic Fall Camp, Carr impressed in a more of an on ball role that saw him create offense for himself— creating space off the bounce and converting on a number of looks from the perimeter. Over the course of multiple preseason showcases with St. Joe’s, Carr’s thrived in a unique role of spot up shooting and secondary ball handling/ facilitation. Carr’s performances this fall have highlighted his ability to be effective both on and off the ball. Carr possesses glaring positional size and fluid movement skills that should continue to help refine his skillset going forward.

delivered a standout performance with his fluid movement skills along side his legit ball skills and ability to create offense for himself. Carr demonstrated his ability to be a smooth shot maker in a variety of ways with his fluid and compact shooting release— knocking down shots in rhythm off the catch while also showcasing he can knock down shots off the bounce as well. Carr also mixed in some finishes at the basket when certain driving lanes opened up for him.

One of just a handful of younger prospects in attendance, Carr was the best shooter we saw over the course of the night. Standing out quickly with positional size and natural fluidity, he was consistent in seeking out open space along the perimeter before showcasing a clean and repeatable flick-of-the-wrist stroke that seemed destined to find the bottom of the net each time. His shooting and athletic tools alone make him a prospect to watch for the scholarship level, but if he builds on the flashes he showed attacking the rim off the dribble, Carr could find himself garnering D1 attention in the years to come.

possesses unique versatility as a do it all wing. He can knock down catch and shoot threes with confidence, handle the ball calmly against defensive pressure while bringing it up the floor, and consistently attack the rim in transition—showing the ability to finish through contact. Carr also makes his presence felt on the boards, using his size and length effectively to crash the glass and secure rebounds.

Carr is a Swiss-Army knife who had no issue converting tough offensive scoring chances of a regular basis when I evaluated him. His blend of length and size allows him to cover ground with ease, He is peaking at the right time and his best basketball is on the brink. He has a chance to burst onto the scene this upcoming season in the Garden state.
