A guard with interesting length and quick anticipation skills, Cummings was regularly seen turning defense into offense and highlighting his athleticism with a number of above the rim finishes. In terms of half court offense, Cummings showcased his ability to be a threat from three point range, knocking down a number of open looks from the perimeter.

With intriguing length paired with his quick anticipation skills as an off ball defender, Cummings strung together a number of moments where turned defense into offense and flashed his athleticism on a number of above the rim athletic finishes in transition. In half court scenarios, Cummings was effective off the ball, spacing the floor as a catch and shoot threat, as he made defenses pay a handful of times for late contested closeouts.

Arguably the most athletic guard in the gym, Cummings stood out from start to finish with his natural physical gifts, consistent energy, and a budding halfcourt skillset. A long and cat-quick guard, he used his athletic tools to routinely convert defense into offense for easy buckets in transition, including multiple above-the-rim finishes. As the night went on, he got seemingly more comfortable making things happen in the halfcourt off the bounce, in particular showing a nice feel as a secondary facilitator. Transferring to Woodbridge from nearby JFK Memorial, Cummings has the physical profile to potentially earn scholarship attention down the line if he can continue refining his skillset.
