CP3NMSC East (ATL) Superlatives: 8th Grade Scorers

Emerson, GA — The CP3 East National Middle School Combine was in full swing this past weekend, bringing together many of the Southeast's top middle school prospects. With the event now wrapped, it's time to recognize the players who left their mark as offensive threats. In part five of our coverage, we highlight the class of 2030's standout scorers, prospects who consistently found ways to put points on the board and kept defenders under pressure all weekend long.    Omari Alleyne showed significant improvement at the 2025 CP3 NMSC East Combine, displaying the ability to score consistently at all three levels. His outside shooting was especially impressive, as he connected from deep with confidence and efficiency. Alleyne's growth as a shot maker stood out, combining range with a reliable mid-range game and the ability to attack the rim. His confidence on the offensive end continues to grow, and his scoring versatility makes him a tough matchup for opposing defenses.     Channing Brooks was a consistent and effective scorer at all three levels during the 2025 CP3 NMSC East Combine, showcasing his ability to generate offense in a variety of ways. When he got rolling, Brooks could put points on the board in bunches, forcing defenses to adjust. His combination of perimeter shooting, mid-range touch, and aggressiveness attacking the rim made him a tough cover throughout the weekend. With his versatile scoring package, Brooks established himself as one of the more dangerous offensive weapons in the gym.     Emory McIntyre's strong basketball pedigree was evident at the 2025 CP3 NMSC East Combine, as he showcased an advanced and polished skill set for his age. Equipped with a versatile scoring package, he consistently found ways to put the ball in the basket. McIntyre adjusted seamlessly to defensive pressure, reading coverages and countering with the right move, whether pulling up, driving, or spotting up from deep. His combination of IQ, confidence, and adaptability highlighted him as one of the most skilled and reliable offensive options at camp.     Elijah Ross proved to be one of the most natural scorers at the 2025 CP3 NMSC East Combine, showing a relentless ability to generate offense whenever the ball was in his hands. He carried a strong scoring presence, attacking defenses with confidence and efficiency. Ross combined athleticism with versatility, punishing opponents in transition, creating off the dribble, and finishing through contact. With so many ways to hurt defenders, his scoring mentality and dynamic offensive skill set separated him as one of the toughest guards to contain throughout the event.     Aston Smith stood out throughout the weekend at the 2025 CP3 NMSC East Combine with his dynamic offensive game. He consistently beat defenders off the dribble, using his quick first step to get downhill and finish at the rim. Smith's advanced feel for the game was evident, as he scored the basketball with confidence and versatility in a variety of situations.
