Events like "The Expo" are perfect for Homeschool prospects like [player_tooltip player_id='2965952' first='Ahmad' last='Malik'] who otherwise would likely struggle to get much exposure. The 5'8" guard came to play on Saturday and held his own against peers from across the state. He was a consistent ball handler for Team 3 that got them into their offense without turning the ball over. Malik was also a good on-ball defender that could pick up full court.

We saw Davis III play a handful of times over the summer and were impressed with his offensive ability. He is a small, but very aggressive guard that is unafraid of attacking the basket and playing against size. Davis III is a creative finisher at the end of his drives and plays off of two feet which allows him to make good decisions as a playmaker as well. The South Bend Riley High School guard will have a chance to earn some minutes as a junior.

Kettery first caught our attention at "The Expo" by lighting it up in some of the early shooting drills. That shot-making ability transferred over to 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 play as well. The 6'0" guard led Alexandria High School in scoring last season as a sophomore and is part of a young returning core that could be much improved this season. His ability to stretch the floor and score from multiple spots will certainly be a big part of that. He played very well on Saturday at "The Expo."

Bishop Chatard could be a vastly improved team this season because, quite simply, their guys have put in the work. Sahm is a bigger, physical guard that had a strong summer with Indiana Basketball Club 16u and showcased his personal improvements at "The Expo" on Saturday. He had a couple of shifty drives to the basket where he displayed good change of pace and the ability to play through contact on the way to the rack. Look for Sahm to a be a standout in the Trojans backcourt this season.

Paris is a high IQ guard that is one of the top returning players from a young, talented core at Tri-West High School. The 6'2" guard averaged 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game last season as a sophomore and made 37 three-point shots at a 41% clip. That shooting ability was on display at "The Expo" while Paris also attacked closeouts, finished with some athleticism at the rim, and was one of the best rebounders from the guard position at the event. There is a lot to like about Paris' all-around game.

Portage High School will be rebuilding/reloading a bit this season as they were hit hard by graduation. We had a couple of prospects from their junior class come down to "The Expo" on Saturday including [player_tooltip player_id='2966639' first='Emilioh' last='Cameron']. The 6'3" left-handed wing looked most comfortable in transition and when attacking closeouts in a straight line to his left. His combination of size and athleticism on the perimeter makes him a matchup problem and gives him some upside as a versatile, switchable defender.

Barrett has good size and strength that allows him to bang around inside. He showcased good footwork and makes quick moves to beat his defender and score at the rim. The 6'3"-6'4" post presence is comfortable facing up and driving it, shooting the little mid-range jumper, or getting to the midline to score with a hook shot. His physicality and strength was apparent on the defensive end of the floor as well where he held his own against some bigger guys down low.

Here is what we had to say about Brownsburg junior [player_tooltip player_id='2141044' first='Brandon' last='Day'] when we highlighted him as one of the top performers at "The Expo."

Day is poised for a breakout junior season at Brownsburg High School. The 6'4″ wing has elite athletic and physical tools which allow him to cause serious matchup problems on the perimeter. He shines in transition, attacks downhill in a straight line against closeouts, and has shown the ability to be disruptive as a perimeter defender as well. All of those traits were on display at “The Expo” and led to him dominating across all facets of the event.
