Owen Albrecht of Rogers (6'8). Owen was one of the biggest players at the event and after a few moments as we were watching him get up and down fine, we saw him set a couple decent screens, and then we saw an pretty physical two hand dunk. That was flooded with a really good outlet pass after a long defensive boards, and then more defensive boards. That was followed with a tip-in, and then some post touches where Owen finished on either side of the rim. After my view this weekend I think Owen has a chance to develop into a solid to good prospect

[player_tooltip player_id='2843124' first='Izaak' last='DePoint'] of Holy Angels (6'5). Izaak was for the most part a junior varsity player a season ago as a sophomore but at his size and from what we saw last weekend, Izaak should be able to help an AHA team that I think is going to be pretty good this winter. Izaak is an agile player that is really a smart paint player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2139462' first='Eddie' last='Reinert'] of Big Lake (6'3). Yesterday was our first chance at Prep Hoops to really get a look at Eddie after noting that he was a key scoring option for Titans Maternoski as they did so much traveling for 16u and the first impression was good. As a scoring wing, Reinert took a lot of players off the dribble to the rim especially to the left of the rim. He made a good scoring impression and rebounded well too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140555' first='Arjun' last='Jain'] of Holy Angels (5'8). Staying with AHA, [player_tooltip player_id='2140555' first='Arjun' last='Jain'] has to be the best shooter in the state that many people weren't aware of. And not only that, it felt like every time Jain scored, his teammates celebrated the basket for him in a big way! Jain used that shooting range to score 11 plus points a game last year as a sophomore and he was knocking down jumpers all over the East Ridge facility.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421164' first='Ryan' last='Miskowicz'] of Eagan (6'6). Eagan has to be one of the more intimidating teams getting off the bus because many do they seem to have a ton of size. Ryan was the 10th man at times, and they went to him when they needed to get another player with size on the floor, and this was during rotational minutes time. He also played junior varsity last year and then went and had a nice 16u season with the Fury. This Sunday I loved the effort that Ryan played with. He was running the floor hard, setting good screens, rebounding well, and contesting a lot of attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353671' first='Derek' last='Thompson'] of East Ridge (6'5). East Ridge seems to have more and more frontcourt guys with some potential every day. Add Derek to the list. Thompson was on alert and active defender at a showcase that surely had more defensive effort than we have seen in the past. Thompson had good size, good feet and he is strong. A player with skills to work with too.
