Armoni is the heartbeat of a really good Harlan HS team. This young man works hard in every possession of every game. For me, it starts with the relentless rebounding. I saw several plays during the weekend where there was a fight for a rebound, and he ended up snagging it down strong and finishing with a dunk. His post game is strong, and although he's powerful around the rim, he has a great touch around the basket. His ball handling Is has improved a lot, which means he's even more dangerous in the open court, getting to the rim. He also plays a hard-nosed style of defense so he takes no possessions off. He is a next-level talent. I'm going to enjoy watching him this season.

Josiah's game is a combination of smooth, effortless offensive flow, combined with real toughness, which is a trait of high-level guards in San Antonio. His jumper is polished and consistent from mid-range and the arc. He can also get to the hoop with his deceptive handles and non-dribble footwork that helps him get past defenders. Defensively, he understands angles and is relentless on the ball, and he will accept tough assignments on the court. This kid is major prospect caliber. His stock will continue to rise as his body matures along with his game.

One of the hardest-working players that I saw this weekend. He basically did whatever his team needed in each game. There were times when I would see him make a quick move to the basket with a nice finish, then on the defensive end, he would win battles for rebounds to start the break. He would also defend almost all five positions on the court. He has a decent jumper and finishes well in transition. He will be a major contributor for East Central this season; his stock will rise significantly.

William's all-around game was on display this weekend. He showed that he could score from the wing in a multitude of ways(jumpers, pull-ups, and through contact layups). He displayed the same diversity on the defensive by consistently guarding much bigger forward/centers and consistently fighting them(and winning) critical rebounding battles. East Central has some good guards, and Williams does a good job of starting the break with a pass and running to the rim to finish. His energy level stays high, which enables him to tip balls and get to loose balls. Lots of upside for this kid; he is one to watch going forward.

Quitin is a very athletic versatile player who plays above he rim. He is most effective in the open court where he has the speed and the strength to get by most guards and once he's in the paint he can/will dunk over the bigs. More important than the highlight dunks is his overall energy on defense both individually and team defense. He will force turnovers, guard multiple positions and keep the pressure on the opponent. Ultimately he will be a guard at the next level but this season he should be a do it all guy to help Judson be successful.

Emiliano is a important part of a quartet of solid guards that make this SA East Central squad go. He pushes that pace on both sides on the ball contributing with a solid shooting touch from midrange and get to the glass on the drive and off of offensive rebounds. His defense very solid and will continue to get better because Central is heavy at the guard spot he has to play a role on this team and he consistant energy shows that he is okay with that as his body matures so will his game he has a positive outlook ahead.
