<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The latest 2027 prospect rankings have been released by our PHI staff!&nbsp; Here we examine the best of the best at the post position!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125634' first='Hayden' last='Schroeder'] (Wheaton Academy)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Schroeder is the top big man in the state's junior class.&nbsp; Skilled four that has great footwork, positioning, and touch in the paint.&nbsp; Finishes out of the dunker spot.&nbsp; Runs the floor extremely well.&nbsp; Racks up the rebounds and is a capable shot blocker.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2391672' first='Jeffrey' last='Hassan'] (Kaneland)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hassan is one of the best shot blockers in the class.&nbsp; He hangs his hat on what he brings defensively as a rim protector blocking shots straight up along with coming from the weakside.&nbsp; Switchable defender on the perimeter in ball screen situations.&nbsp; Offensively he is best right now as a lob threat, rim runner, and finishing out of dunker spot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323620' first='Ed' last='Stasys'] (Benet)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stasys moved up the board because of his strong summer.&nbsp; What we liked was how he was perhaps the best rebounder in the class doing it on both ends of the floor.&nbsp; Gets second chance points offensively.&nbsp; Also is a quality defender blocking shots and being tough to score on inside.&nbsp; Flashes skill and athleticism on the offensive end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125637' first='Jacob' last='Fuller'] (Glenbrook South)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fuller is a floor spacing four man that can really shoot the ball from beyond the arc.&nbsp; He is a high level shooter for any position much less being a post.&nbsp; Such a feathery shot off the catch.&nbsp; When he plays inside and uses his mobility he is effective.&nbsp; Would like to see more of that.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2383971' first='Tyler' last='McConnell'] (Pinckneyville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McConnell is one of the top prospects that many don't know about.&nbsp; He is a bouncy four that can play above the rim.&nbsp; He had moments of brilliance with the [program_tooltip program_id='2075532' first='Illinois' last='Bears'] this spring and summer.&nbsp; Explosive finisher out of the dunker spot, runs the floor, and handles it from the mid-post in.&nbsp; Snatches rebound with two hands in traffic and can push off the defensive glass.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
