High School Spotlight: Carmel Greyhounds

The season is still a few months away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. Leading the charge will be senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell']</strong>, a 6'8 power forward who enters the season fully healthy and holding an offer from Bellarmine. Harrell brings a relentless motor and explosive athleticism around the basket, giving Carmel a true frontcourt anchor. Expect him to have a big senior year as the Greyhounds aim to make noise again.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Players:&nbsp;[player_tooltip player_id='2837913' first='Cash' last='Daniels']/[player_tooltip player_id='2560647' first='Vincent' last='Nover']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A couple of players expected to make a big impact in the backcourt for Carmel this season are juniors <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2837913' first='Cash' last='Daniels']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2560647' first='Vincent' last='Nover']</strong>. Daniels, a transfer from Cathedral, will step in right away as the Greyhounds' lead guard and have the ball in his hands from day one. Nover, meanwhile, returns after a strong sophomore campaign and projects as one of Carmel's top scoring threats off the ball.
