Breaking down the performances of the prospects from Team 7 at the Prep Hoops Wisconsin Freshman Showcase!

Lavonte will be an exciting prospect to keep an eye on over the next four seasons. Now listed at 6'3, he enters high school with an impressive frame, combining length and athleticism that you don't often see in a young guard. Johnson has range extending to well beyond the arc, can use his length to defend a number of spots on the floor, and has the handle to blow by defenders off the bounce. Explosiveness allows him to hang in the air for acrobatic finishes, which will help him make the jump up to high school basketball competing against bigger defenders.

One of the most efficient offensive players from the day was [player_tooltip player_id='2402423' first='Ben' last='Pritzl']. He finds ways to get quality looks, and when left open he doesn't often miss. His off ball movement allowed him to find pockets of space to take a kick-out pass and knock down an open three. Also showed he can pull-up off the dribble and make defenders pay for going under screens. One of a handful of promising young players for DeForest.

Elijah is still a very much raw prospect, but the potential is there if he puts in the work over the coming years. He was one of the tallest players at the event, standing at 6'5 with an incredibly long frame. Elijah moves well getting up and down the floor, and worked hard to sprint rim-to-rim in transition. You can tell he's still growing into his frame, but his effort on the glass helped lead to a couple of put-back buckets, where he showed soft touch to finish off the glass.

Bryce is one of those players who doesn't need to take shots to contribute to a game. It took him about three seconds to dish out his first assist in the game I watched, as he took the opening tip and zipped in a pass to a teammate cutting to the rim. Bryce sees the floor well and is able to use his 6'5 frame to deliver passes over the top of the defense. On the other end there weren't many positions he couldn't defend, as he moves well laterally against smaller wings, and is tough to move on the block. Dominant rebounder on the defensive glass.

Terrance checked into the game off the bench and immediately made an impact. On his first offensive possession he drained a three, and continued to provide an outside shooting presence the rest of the game. Really quick guard who can pressure the ball hard defensively. Later on in the game he had an impressive touch finish high off the glass.

Like his older brothers before him, Kash brings an intriguing blend of size, skill, and basketball IQ to the floor. The 6'4 guard was one of the best passers at the event, able to force the defense to collapse on him before locating an open teammate. Kash can beat you with finesse as he has a dangerous turnaround jumper, but he has no problem initiating contact and bullying his way to the rim for two points as well. Kash played with a smile on his face and was producing at a high level all game long in a big win.

Playing on a loaded team, Gabe found ways other than scoring to make his presence felt. He was a true competitor on both ends who was battling on the glass against bigger players, and was sprinting the floor on both ends. Was able to leak out in transition and finish through contact, while also hustling back to shut down a few transition opportunities for the other team.

Greyson had some nice flashes on both ends of the floor on Saturday. Defensively he blocked a shot, always seemed to be in the right spots, and was hustling back to stop the opposing team in transition. On the offensive end he showcased a lightning quick left-to-right crossover to beat his man off the dribble, had a tough left handed finish through contact, and dished out an assist in transition.
